Hem is an exploration of materials based on the thought of connecting materials in the making process. The starting point of Hem was the importance of considering the connection of materials to each other as a process in production; hence the designer created a series of seamless bags. Latex is used as a glue medium to stick the fabrics to each other.

Printing with latex in a way that is similar to silkscreen printing not only gives the bag an interesting graphic, but also functions as a hem, connecting fabrics or creating small tunnels for rope to be threaded through.
